Disappointed with the #philosophy community on #Piefed. Unlike other spaces, it's mostly downvotes with very little discussion (exceptions aside). Ironically, the people who would benefit most from high-level software and tech concepts are the ones ignoring it entirely.

I'm seeing some weird shit on the "Europe have more deaths by heatwave than US from guns", so I decided to check the numbers, guess fucking what. It's just propaganda. Heatwave (on the worse case scenario) would be around 0.5 per 100k people... And gun would be 8.0 per 100k.... Like I said, worse case on one side, best on the other... fuck me.
