I borrowed this book from library today and I love it. It's a reference book for a ton of different mechanics in board games.
It explains the mechanics very well, lists examples of games that use them and give pros, cons and considerations for all of them.
It does make a few weird judgements here and there that I found odd but other than those, it's a reference book that I'm planning to add to my bookshelf permanently in the future.
