Found a non-functional github project that was last updated 2 years ago which changes your mastodon profile depending on what your listenbrainz "Currently listening" is outputting...I fixed it up after some trial and error to work in a docker container with refresh. Its been adding my listenbrainz currently listening, which is scrobbled from my local plex/jellyfin music libraries. Pretty cool! Feels very myspace lol Might put this out in the next week so others can use it. It's very lightweight at around 20-30mb memory. Neuer Artikel im Blog. „Gibt's für podman eigentlich auch was Grafisches?" Ja, gibt es. Nur läuft die GUI da, wo der server gar nicht ist. podman desktop sitzt auf dem Notebook, die container hängen per SSH am server. Es zeigt übrigens auch docker-container an – docker desktop umgekehrt keine podman-engine. Die Kompatibilität ist eine Einbahnstraße. Docker Services erreichen mittels Traefik Wem Traefik zu kompliziert ist, findet mit Caddy und Caddyfile eine einfachere Lösung, um Docker-Images unter einer Domain zu binden. Kubernetes is really neat tech, and I know I spent a few days learning how to use it and stuff, but I really don't see a need for it in my homelab. I might just bring my k3s down and convert them to docker-compose. This isn't anti-K8s, or something extreme, it's more like pro-right-tool-for-the-job. For a single-VM setup running a handful of services, Compose reduces maintenance overhead without sacrificing anything I actually need. #homelab #kubernetes #k3s #docker #selfhosted #linux #devops #FOSS
