My sister sent me a Google link with search results about something we'd discussed. I thanked her, and then suggested using "No AI" DuckDuckGo for searches in future. Then sent her this link:

Holy fucking shit AI is causing heaps of problems in the botanical identification world. Northwest floral had an incredible id tool where you could type in various subspecies of a plant and it would give you side by side comparisons in minute details. They've turned it off because of ai bot scraping. Jepsons eflora now makes you take a math test to prove you are human. Kew went to blank pages, This is a fucking nightmare. Grass ID is hard, it can be incredibly confusing and now because of fucking AI my life has become harder. I am proud of botanical sites standing up to ai .... But shit #fuckAi

I just watched a video of a dog doing something that I thought was cool, and then someone pointed out to me that it was generated with AI. I hate that we have to research every new video, every new image, every new song, every new everything, to make sure it's not AI generated.

Olen taas sortunut esimään netistä ruokareseptejä, koska jääkaapissa on kohta vanhaksi menevä kevytkermapukki (ostetettu vierasvaraksi, ei kuulu meidän tavan elintarvikkeisiin). Taas törmäsin siihen, että ruokablogien sijaan näkyviin tulee ihmeellistä geneeristä huttua, kuten Vapaa Lady (vapaalady.fi) Epäsuomalaiset valikot ja yllättäin mikään ylläpitäjään viittaava ei sisällä mitään. Kirjoittajina on nimiä ja kuvia, yhden kuva johtaa toiselle yhtä hämylle verkkosivulle (omarauha.fi), toisen naamakuva löytyy ihan eri nimellä (jotenkin Taavi Leinikki on muuttunut Kevin Kelleriksi ja Roni Särkelä Robert Wilsoniksi).
