VPN Service Policy

Elektrine VPN carries traffic between a device and an Elektrine server.

VPN requires an active membership.

A banned or suspended account has no VPN access.

Membership is $1 for 30 days. It includes VPN and unlimited email.

Payment is in Monero when this site accepts it.

An account with membership that is not billed monthly keeps VPN.

VPN ends when a paid period ends and is not renewed.

Active membership has no VPN data quota.

The default speed cap for a member is 100 Mbps. The operator may set another cap for the service or for one account. The cap covers every device on the account.

Elektrine VPN is operated from the United States.

Conduct that is illegal under U.S. federal or state law is prohibited.

That rule applies even when the conduct is legal where you are.

Do not:

• Break applicable law, including the law where you are
• Access, distribute, or store illegal content
• Infringe copyright for commercial purposes
• Deal in child exploitation material. The operator reports it to authorities
• Commit fraud, identity theft, or other financial crime
• Buy or sell illegal goods or services
• Attack, scan, or spoof networks or systems
• Run open proxies, open relays, Tor exit nodes, botnets, or command-and-control servers
• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or unauthorized cryptocurrency mining
• Send spam or harvest contacts
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or publish private information without consent
• Bypass the speed cap or any other technical limit
• Sell VPN access, or share an account password or VPN private key
• Open extra accounts to evade a ban, a suspension, or a speed cap
• Interfere with the service or with other users

A guest share is use of the member account that issued it.

The operator may suspend VPN access or close an account that breaks this policy.

The operator may investigate a suspected violation.

The operator reports illegal activity to law enforcement when the law requires it.

VPN logging follows the Privacy Policy.

The service does not sell VPN logs.

The service does not keep

• Browsing history or destination sites
• DNS query names or packet contents
• Your source IP on the VPN path
• Traffic inside the tunnel
• Connect and disconnect history, unless the operator enables that record

The service may keep

• Keys required to run the VPN
• Aggregate byte counters for the account
• The assigned server and the device name on a profile

If the operator enables connect and disconnect records, the default retention is 7 days. Those records do not include your source IP.

Elektrine receives DNS queries from a VPN profile only when that profile has blocklists enabled and the server supports them.

The operator may update this policy.

Continued use after a change means you accept the new policy.
