Trying to find things online in 2026… bloody tedium.
I do a lot of radio comms events where I'm out on a checkpoint. In all weather… bright sunshine… pouring rain… freezing cold. Everything.
Running a checkpoint involves paperwork, which you must keep dry, but still use out in the elements. I also have a tablet computer, which really does not like even the slightest spray on the screen. I thought about this, and bought one of these:

Good, except one problem… despite getting the biggest one they offer, the hood is tight. Barely fits over my head, and if I've got a headset on for a radio, it's a real struggle. But other than that, it keeps a clipboard or tablet dry just fine. The clear fabric is ideal for this as it means any high-vis clothing underneath is visible.
Okay, it wasn't expensive and nearly solves the issue, but it proved a concept. Let's go look for a better one.
"clear enclosed cape" is a query one must use with great caution. The search engine is very quick to throw you down the BDSM rabbit hole very quickly if you're not careful. Either that, or you get sellers that don't understand the difference between a jacket (has sleeves), a cape (like a sleeveless jacket) or a poncho (rectangular fabric).
Image search eventually narrows down something I'm after… from a vendor that's better known for BDSM stuff, but whatever. Based in Germany. €58 + €30 shipping… okay, let's go. I put the order in.

Ten remake Halo to jest chyba najgorsze wykorzystanie UE5 jakie widziałem.
Wszystko się nienaturalnie świeci i odbija od powierzchni (przez nieumiejętne wykorzystanie Lumen i Nanite), tekstury niskiej jakości żeby się to jakoś nie rozsypało, do tego sama gra ma problem z utrzymaniem 60 klatek przy większych zadymach i nie dość że sam klatkarz spada to jeszcze framerate animacji przeciwników jest obcinany poniżej 30fps, przez co poruszający się wrogowie wyglądają jak film poklatkowy (kontrastując z ledwo trzymającymi sie 60fps).
No i standardowy pakiet UE5, czyli nawalone wszystkich możliwych upscalerów, w walce o jakiś przyzwoity performance, przez co ekran to jedna wielka papka a ilość artefaktów momentami zaburza wręcz czytelność akcji. Jak to tak wygląda na bazowym PS5 to ja sobie nie wyobrażam co się musi dziać na Series S.
Jako fan serii jestem zawiedziony i rozczarowany, a biorąc pod uwagę inne problemy gry (zjebany writing, kompletnie spaprane charaktery postaci itd.) to ciężko widzę przyszłość marki i kolejne gry. Już by naprawdę lepiej zrobili jakby przeportowali MCC na PS5, puścili za 60$ i nie wydurniali się z tym co jest, bo to poziom poniżej tych różnych„fanowskich remake’ów na UE”, gdzie ktoś zrobił grę X na bazie tutorialu z Udemy i myśli że jest gamedevem.
Quo Vadis Microsoft… przecież to wasza flagowa seria, jak można było ją doprowadzić do takiego stanu :(

this was an experiment of combining chalk and oil brushes. honestly it went not as planned and though it has a whole load of rendering - 'tis too huge to be a presented on the web. like, 'tis ~6440x1900px, i cant rescale it without losing the quality and details (aka rendered feathers etc). which is unfortunate and i should start using smaller canvases. anyways, i uploaded the original full file to MEGA ( https://mega.nz/file/UicxnIbB#3WnIMYX7LPnKXl5_HLd5Uz7H7d2Cwu6QHzk9Y8QMygY ) so you're welcome to download and zoom it in, as I had to shrink it for the web and now it looks awful. am kinda sad cuz 'tis not even useful for portfolio cuz of this resolution and as 'twas a free work during the art fight event 'tis practically not useful at all (aka i did not even get paid or cant use it for my own profile pics as the character isnt mine etc). dunno who would ever need to see it in my portfolio, who needs all these overrendered details that are visible only when zoomed in on PC. like, 'tis not even a masterpiece (the pose is too static imo, i see lots of imperfections, average work in general) to do so.
i will attach some close-up screenshots ig, the one with the bird is my fave part. the bird was the least rendered and yet i love it the most here.
