"Mi sono sentito molto a mio agio in risposta nel primo set, nel secondo invece sono stato un po' più in difficoltà ma sono soddisfatto della performance di oggi. In questi momenti cerco di giocare il miglior tennis possibile: oggi è stata un'ottima giornata, affrontavo uno dei migliori giocatori al mondo in questo momento", dice Sinner.
"Oggi le condizioni erano diverse, nel primo set c'era vento, poi la situazione è diventata più normale. La vittoria di oggi vuol dire tanto per me perchè è un torneo dove non avevo mai giocato la finale. Domenica sarà molto difficile ma sono felice di potermi giocare un altro titolo", aggiunge.
Nella seconda semifinale si affronteranno il tedesco Alex Zverev, testa di serie numero 2, e il belga Alex Blockx.

“I felt very comfortable in the response in the first set, in the second I was a little more in difficulty but I am satisfied with today’s performance. In these moments I try to play the best tennis possible: today was a great day, I was facing one of the best players in the world at this time,” says Sinner.
“Today the conditions were different, there was wind in the first set, then the situation became more normal. Today’s victory means a lot to me because it’s a tournament where I had never played the final. Sunday will be very difficult but I’m happy to be able to play another title,” he adds.
In the second semifinal, German Alex Zverev, the 2nd seed, and Belgian Alex Blokx will face off.
