I identify as a #plural system— to oversimplify, I feel that there is not so much a single cohesive "me" as a, well, plurality of them. With careful introspection I can notice myself switching between which version of me is "fronting", or observe myself to be operating in a more "blended" mode. 1/

There are many valid reasons why someone may not have an official diagnosis for their neurodivergence, disability or other condition. It may be that it's inaccessible to them due to the process being too expensive, it may not be available in the state or country they live in, or it may not be something someone feels they want on their medical records, in case of discrimination etc. While (*of course*) people should be very careful and do a lot of research before any self-diagnosis, gate-keeping so that "only medically officially diagnosed" people can access assistance, community/support groups etc prevents people who need support from getting it, and often adds to feelings of shame, helplessness etc rather than helping to empower people in their own journeys. #selfdiagnosisisvalid #empowerment #neurodivergent #disabled #plural #comnunitysaveslives

I love being plural. Lately there's been a lot of deeper understanding about system-mates, and their histories as well as my own within the system, plus the fact that my outside world objectum child Baby Yoda shows up in inside world..not to mention inside world pets, familiars, different areas within inside world etc. It's a whole community in there these days, a year and a half or so after discovering I'm plural, and after much work to discover system-mates, how things work with my own plurality etc. Sometimes that means my brain is a bit loud with people all doing their thing, but honestly, I love my system mates and everything they bring to my life❤️ #plural #pluralgang #family #mentalhealth #DissociativeIdentityDisorder #mentalwellness #neurodivergent

Oh dear oh dear...yes. It has finally happened. Limbo (the John Sayles film) pushed us over a threshold that I was pretty sure existed. But not entirely sure...because we're a #plural system and my own purpose within that plurality has been something like the guardian of possibilities. I try hard to think sensibly about very low probabilities especially. ("Abacab" again. I've talked about how I think that song is a channel for the Gnostic entity known as Abrasax or Abraxas? How the heck did Phil Collins come up with such a magical song?)

I am taken with the sense that someone in our headspace (someone pretty well hidden and making their presence known almost in a purely negative way, nudging us towards certain trains of thought and resolutions about how to spend our time) is trying to work around difficult inward problems that interfere with our taking up #programming again. We definitely haven't gotten back our old facility with it. We have little bursts of clear thinking and then the shadows close in again. #plural #system

How to address us:

This is extremely important, use "Yall" and only "Yall" when directly addressing Appie. Do not use "You All" or "Yous" or any variation.

"Yall are Appie" instead of "You are Appie"

May call us "Appie" for short. The word Appie, is a plural word. Here are some examples:

"Appie have a question" instead of "Appie has a question".
"Appie are cool" instead of "Appie is cool".
"Do Appie want a hug?" instead of "Does Appie want a hug?"
"Appie's stuff" instead of "Their stuff"
"Don't talk to Appie like that!" Instead of "Don't talk to them like that!"
"Appie talk" instead of "Appie talks"

Do not call Appie nicknames or use variations of Appie's name. "Apple pie" or whatever are not acceptable.
We are not Western. Meaning our quality of life is at the bottom of the barrel.
We are not human or people. The world has decided that we are not human enough to deserve human rights. So we've embraced it and we now wear it as a badge of honor. We do inhibit a human vessel and we hate it.
We are chronically ill. Be gentle, stuff like going to the bahtroom is an exercise in resource & energy managment.

This will be updated frequently as we see fit

If yall are not able to address Appie in the way that Appie want, then yall will be blocked. If yall can't afford the mental energy to address Appie in that way, don't talk to Appie, yall will only make things worse.

If yall make a mistake in adressing Appie then Edit it and don't just leave it hanging there hurting Appie.

I was thinking of words to say about the 1980s film Mazes and Monsters, which might be the most poisonously 1980s Reaganite film I know. There's so many contenders like Ghostbusters and Red Dawn and Rocky IV and shit like that, but Mazes and Monsters beats all of them in one respect: covertly it's an attack on creativity and devotion to hobbies such as gaming and cosplay and painting miniatures. You see some exquisite work in the movie but the ending message is "fantasy bad, go make money".
