fyi:
- i transitioned 2004-2006
- it included trips to thailand for my surgeries, first for FFS, second five months later for SRS + AM
- during both trips i was with many others going thru the same journey, also there for the same surgeries
- both times, the large majority were into blokes, already had or otherwise hoped to find good relationships with blokes
- two of them, first trip, actually were already "escorts" for blokes, & believed their business would further improve once they were post-op [i regarded these women with a mix of awe, fascination, & repugnance -- they were a part of life utterly unknown to me]
- in my 2nd trip iirc i was the only one who liked women not men
- in my first trip there was a small handful of us only into women, but we were certainly very outnumbered by those into men
- even in the early phases of my transition, a year or 18 months before surgeries, when i was attending support groups, everyone else there was into blokes, i was the only one who had zero interest, even antipathy, to blokes
- we've fallen out of touch long ago now, but i knew another woman who was exclusively into women early in her transition, but once she was "out the other side" she entirely flipped over & was only interested in men. i mention her to you simply to illustrate that if you're still early in your journey there's just no point trying to "set rules" for yourself; you simply cannot predict how "future you" will feel once you're endocrinologically female, & possibly also surgically. just go with the flow...
