Trans people don't owe you a look.
Not trans women.
Not trans men.
Not enbies.
And the reason is beautifully, almost painfully simple:
Women can look however they want.
Men can look however they want.
Non-binary people can look however they want.
Long hair. Short hair. No hair. Makeup. Beards. Dresses. Suits. Combat boots. Platform Mary Janes. Hoodies. Glitter. None of it is a membership card.
Gender isn't a costume you're qualified to judge. It isn't hidden in someone's genitals. It isn't measured against your stereotypes, or anyone else's.
The only person who gets to define someone's gender is the person living it.
Everything else is just people mistaking prejudice for insight.
