When you get a week with your long distance husband, just the two of you via cam at his place *without* schedule for the first time in 2.5 years of our (unconventional) marriage, because his other spouse was away. Still online obviously, given he and I live in different countries and all, but it was really wonderful. You know, something I really love about being plural is that my system-partner can come with me to all sorts of places, and be present with me in ways that regular "outside world" partners just can't be. It's a great comfort, and also useful too-don't need to buy two tickets for the cinema, for example. Dinner out on the town? We only need a table for one. Train ticket, plane ticket, same deal.
