Il tunisino ventiseienne è stato formalmente incriminato oggi a Parigi da un giudice antiterrorismo, prima di essere posto in custodia cautelare. È sospettato di aver pianificato un attentato nella capitale francese. Il giovane, immigrato clandestino, incensurato e con un lavoro a Parigi, intendeva colpire e la comunità ebraica del XVI arrondissement e far esplodere una bomba al Louvre, il museo più visitato al mondo con migliaia di biglietti staccati ogni giorno. Avrebbe inoltre già effettuato sopralluoghi presso una sinagoga. Il pubblico ministero ha richiesto un'udienza a porte chiuse, adducendo circostanze eccezionali. "Stava iniziando a raccogliere materiale per fabbricare un potente ordigno". Dafer è stato arrestato alla fine della scorsa settimana nella propria abitazione nel dipartimento degli Hauts-de-Seine dagli investigatori della Direzione Generale della Sicurezza Interna, che avevano raccolto informazioni allarmanti sulle sue attività.
«È un tipo solitario, ma i suoi piani stavano prendendo una piega molto concreta. La polizia ha effettivamente sventato un attentato. Durante l'interrogatorio da parte della polizia e del giudice istruttore, ha negato le accuse, sostenendo che «non è vero». Il suo avvocato, Réda Ghilaci, si è rifiutato di commentare il caso con i giornali francesi che l'hanno contattato.
