POETRY UNBOUND At The Bull, 56 High Street, #Bracknell wed may 6th 2026, 6 - 7:30 p.m. Just turn up with some #poems. A relaxed, thoughtful space where #poetrylovers gather to read poems aloud, share reactions or interpretations and learn from other friendly readers. You don't need to be a #writer, just a #poetry fan, although writers are welcome too. Or you can just listen and simply soak up the language. It's not a class or a course or a 'slam, just a supportive friendly place to share.

Anyone ever included a prologue to a novel? I'm doing it for the first time. I never thought I'd consider it, but there's a piece of critical information about a character that needs a setup, and there's no place in the book that feels right. The old saying, "Past is prologue." totally resonates. I guess I'll see when it's published. There’s something about flicking through the pages of a dictionary to get a spelling that typing on a keyboard of touchscreen doesn’t replicate. It forces the need to think through the spelling, and whether it’s spelt line it sounds! #writer #englishspelling #dictionary

My weird way of taking notes in everything ever is catching up to me. Most of today and prob the morning will be me getting all of the notes I have into one place so I can do the thing. Also true me, what was going to be a NSFW spicy mini story is now a whole multi part thing. I hope it is worth the read. IG it is good practice even if not. And for ppl wondering, I'm using NovelWriter: https://novelwriter.io/ Why? Well BC my blog also uses Markdown soostly I can just cut and paste if I want.
