Found an old note to myself regarding the book I'm now actively writing. So this is how I plot stories... 🤣

The whole heresy fits in nine words. That's the crime they're screaming about — that a picture book has an aunt in it who is happy, and does not apologize, and does not get fixed by the last page.
Let them rage. Every second spent screaming at Lola is a second this country spends learning the word aro/ace.
Tha àite aig a h-uile duine aig a' bhòrd — everyone has a place at the table.
What did you build that nobody handed you a blueprint for?

Therapy? Nah. I just project my emotions onto fictional people and call it art.
If my characters aren't crying, I'm not writing hard enough.
They suffer, I heal. It’s a beautiful cycle of mutual destruction. Except that it's one sided.

It’s fun being able to peek at other library holdings & see if/where my books pop up. Just one of the many cool things I can with my library card.
Now, I don’t know *why* I have a fan in a state I have never lived in & visited only twice in my life, but I’m delighted they requested their library carry my paperbacks.
And all my books appear to be listing in Ebsco’s Gobi Library system too, which serves academic libraries, iirc, so that’s intriguing.
Procrastinating? Me? Maybe…
