I would like it to be a place to ask for suggestions, to share and receive ideas and tips. To talk about news in the photography world, but also to spend some time chatting just for the fun of it. A place where photographers can meet and, why not, develop shared projects together. A place where an expert can learn from amateurs and not only the other way around.

Recently I decided to help organize an existing small library at our community center. It's been neglected for years, and is overrun with certain genres of fiction, mainly romance and action novels. There is a good reprsentation of other genres too. Space is limited, and I need to cull books to create room for new donations.
Looking for advice on how to purge books while creating balance, and maintaining an adequate selection for all readers.
I'm stumped. Suggestions?

A vigil is being held at Calgary's city hall between 7 and 8 p.m. MT to remember 11-year-old Parker, a boy who went missing from a specialized care facility in mid-July. His body was found after a near two-week search.

Hundreds of signs, and not one of them printed.
Ordinary Minnesotans paid for their own tickets, sat at their own kitchen tables with markers out of a junk drawer, and made posters. No organization convened them. Nobody bused them in. The noise carried through the entire game.
Three feet from all of it, a head coach with a roster to hold together wore four words in front of twenty thousand people and then said the plain accurate sentence into a hallway full of reporters.
None of that was brave in a cinematic way. A shirt. A marker. A document filed. A man saying I was wrong into a microphone. The accumulated weight of small unphotogenic decisions is the only thing that has ever moved this country an inch in a direction worth going.
