Since yesterday, all my hardware is Linux free (goodbye and thanks #manjaro) and happily running #FreeBSD. The last piece of the puzzle was my Tuxedo InfinityBook 14 and to be honest I expected more struggle. Tweak here, WiFi firmware there and everything is working. So far so good ❤️ still many things to tweak 😉 This is quite stronger hardware than my usual ThinkPads and much more responsive compared to Linux. Happy and content 😊 #runbsd #bsd #freebsd

#Linux wird zur Zielscheibe: Was der #AUR-Vorfall wirklich zeigt. Aktuell wird in der Linux-Welt wieder über einen Vorfall rund um das AUR diskutiert. Das #AUR ist eine #Community-Paketquelle für #Arch #Linux und # Systeme wie #CachyOS, #EndeavourOS oder #Manjaro. Für mich zeigt dieser Fall nicht, dass Linux plötzlich unsicher ist. Fazit nach mehr als ein einer vollen Woche mit #Linux : Ich habe noch nicht wirklich etwas entdeckt was nicht funktioniert. Es funktioniert teilweise nur anders als von Windows gewohnt. Mein Mann hat #Manjaro installiert und ich #Mint. Diese beiden Distros machen einige Dinge unterschiedlich, was manchmal die Kommunikation über "Probleme" erschwert. Alles in Allem bereue ich den Umstieg nicht.
