What's a good alternative to #Mozilla #Firefox without crapware ? I just fresh installed it and had to remove widgets and VPN button. Then launched it again and some widgets and the VPN icon had come back! Balls to this. I had already been thinking it has been crappifying for a bit and today is the lastni want to put up with it.

WE'S DONT LIIKE THE CUT OF YOUR JIB. No due process. Fuck right outta here, no refunds. The "We Don't Care If You Lose Everything" Clause (Sections 11 & 12). You pay for a service but they promise absolutely nothing. They could shut down tomorrow, and youre SOL. The "Pay Our Lawyers" Clause (Section 13). If you fuck up, or not even fuck up and someone comes after them and they mention you, YOU have to pay their legal bills. The "We Can Change the Rules Whenever We Want" Clause (Section 14). Usual Big Tech bullshittery. (LACK OF) Privacy Policy The "We Use Your Real Emails to Test Stuff" Clause (Section: Processing Purposes). These fuckers actually use YOUR personal emails on their testing systems. The "Manual Review" of Private Emails (Section: Private Information: MZLA Access). If they THINK you might violate their ToS or their authoritarian feels, they read everything of yours. The "We Know You Opened This" Trap (Section: Cookies/Tracking) They pixel-tag their emails that you cant bloody turn off. The "Data Retention Black Hole" (Section: Security and Retention) Theres no time limit how long they'll feed your REAL EMAILS in their testing systems, or how long they retain anything. The "Third-Party Data Sharing" Loophole (Section: Sharing) Oooooh, like, uhhh, DATA BROKERS? And who needs a court order? We'll just call it "fraud and abuse". They want to pretend they're an upstart, 'To The Power of the People' or some bullshit. In reality this is yet another Big Tech 'Fuck you I got Mine' terms of service and privacy policy.

People crapping all over #Mozilla for having an X account now, yet I see #fedipeeps with X account links on their bios, #FOSS projects with X links on their homepages... I despise X and Musk, but maybe be a little more consistent. And I have publicly rebuked FOSS projects on #fedi for having X account links on their homepages, asking them just what Musk would have to do to get them to delete it. If you're gonna go scorched earth, be consistent with it, otherwise its just sparkling douchebaggery. Like, if the Linux distro you use has an X or Meta account (and many of them do), but you haven't said anything about that... BRUH. #kthxbai

look, I'm a simple girl: I want a #browser that I can use on my phone and my computer, that will let me sync tabs across the two, and that isn't Blink-based (because I think browser diversity is important for an open web). up to now, I'm yet to find an alternative to #Firefox that fits those criteria. suggestions welcome! #mozilla
