OK, I have completed the "echo words" pass on the WIP. Cancelled my subscription to NaturalVoices - because they've gone 100% AI and were expensive (just in time, renewal was on the 10th) Now have a local text-to-speech solution on my Linux machine with a sexy male Scottish voice 😄 Excellent. My new computer arrives tomorrow and I should have it up and running by the time I need to create the cover elements for my designer. It's all go. #amEditing

I've realised today that the only place I truly relax is inside a story It can be my own story or someone else's - writing, editing, reading - it doesn't matter. Inside a story, everything else falls away and I am, for that time at least, completely at peace.
