Urgent #MutualAidRequest to help a homeless disabled trans couple stay inside and out of the heat Goal (due August 11 by 11am MST): Goal met, thank you! @LukeOrion@indiepocalypse.social and I didn’t make our goal by the deadline this morning, and the only reason we aren’t outside is because the front desk was willing to give us an extra hour. Even then we only made with 10 minutes to spare. We need to raise $86 by 11am tomorrow morning. This morning was extremely stressful for us, and it really did a number on us. We’re dealing with major pain flare ups right now. Please help us be able to stay inside tomorrow so we can recover more. We are a homeless disabled and trans couple with limited resources trying our best to survive, and currently trying to remain sheltered at a motel. *URGENT* #MutualAidRequest to help a homeless disabled trans couple stay inside and out of heat Goal (due August 10): $79/$86 UPDATE: The good news is that @LukeOrion@indiepocalypse.social and I were able to stay inside. We made it with under 10 minutes to spare. We got a donation that brought us to $79 after fees. We had to use $7 of the $10 that's still left of what's *supposed* to go towards them being able to get top surgery. We weren't in any position to wait to see if somebody would donate that last $7 in time. Keeping number at $79 for now to try and recover that. Thank you!
