LA NOTIZIA: L’assalto alla Corte dell’Aia parte dalla Colombia Sta agli atti della Corte internazionale di giustizia dal 5 aprile 2024. È la dichiarazione con cui la Colombia è intervenuta, ai sensi dell’articolo 63 dello Statuto, nella causa che il Sudafrica ha aperto contro Israele per genocidio a Gaza. Nel testo Bogotá scrive di volere “la sicurezza e, di fatto, l’esistenza stessa del popolo palestinese”. Il 16 luglio l’ufficio del presidente eletto Abelardo de la Espriella ha annunciato che quel documento verrà ritirato. Lo dice così: la Colombia “riprenderà una posizione seria e responsabile sulla scena internazionale, anche all’interno del sistema delle Nazioni Unite”. L’insediamento è fissato al 7 agosto. A Washington il ministro degli Esteri israeliano Gideon Sa’ar ha già incontrato il futuro omologo Omar Bula Escobar, e il conto è presto fatto: relazioni piene, visti aboliti, ambasciata a Gerusalemme.
