Il Tempo: Giuliacci non dà speranze sul caldo: ad agosto torna il rovente anticiclone africano Che tempo farà nei prossimi giorni? A dare una risposta al quesito è Mario Giuliacci, noto meteorologo, in un video apparso sul proprio canale YouTube: “Godiamoci ancora per 5-6 giorni questa rinfrescata in atto, perché poi ai primi di agosto ritorna lui, il rovente anticiclone africano. L'aria fresca appunto sta ancora seguitando a influenzare l'Italia, si sta propagando anche alle regioni meridionali, restano un po' più scoperte le isole maggiori. Intanto fino al 28 luglio si vedranno arrivare appunto queste più fresche correnti atlantiche per due perturbazioni, una arriva giovedì 23 luglio e l'altra arriva alla fine di sabato 25 luglio per interessare poi domenica 26 luglio l'Italia. In genere questi rovesci e temporali interesseranno per lo più le regioni adriatiche, quindi Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Umbria, rilievi abruzzesi e persino la Puglia”. Quindi quando torna questo caldo? Ecco il resto dell'analisi del colonnello: “Poi tra il 29 luglio e il 31 luglio si affaccia l'anticiclone africano, invierà correnti più calde, quindi avremo temperature tra 32 e 35 gradi, correnti più calde però di origine subtropicale atlantica. Ma poi tra l'1 e il 5 agosto l'anticiclone africano mostra il peggio di sé e invierà sull'Italia correnti calde di origine nordafricana. Quindi dovremo di nuovo sopportare temperature superiori a 35 gradi e prossime ai 40 gradi. Non siamo - spiega Giuliacci - ancora in grado di dire quando finirà questa ondata di caldo nordafricana”. Climate models have long warned that global warming could weaken deep-water formation—the density-driven sinkid that is the engine of the #AMOC.
