"Israeli restrictions on aid are crippling Gaza relief operations: UNRWA Israel’s restrictions on aid entering Gaza continue to disrupt humanitarian operations, with shortages of lubricant oil and spare parts leaving more than half of UN Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA’s vehicle fleet out of service, according to the agency’s latest situation report. UNRWA said shortages of fuel and lubricants have also affected 62 water wells, reducing its production and distribution of clean water by 42 percent. Despite the constraints, the agency said it resumed services at Beach Camp Health Centre in western Gaza City on July 21 and opened the Bahrain Medical Point in southern Gaza City on July 29. The two facilities are expected to provide primary healthcare to almost 100,000 people. Le directeur de l' #Autorité des eaux des municipalités côtières de la bande de Gaza, l'ingénieur Munther Shablak, a mis en garde dimanche 29 mars 2026 contre l'effondrement du réseau d'approvisionnement en eau et d'assainissement, en raison du blocage par Israël de l'entrée de carburants et de pièces détachées pour les équipements dans la bande de Gaza, et ce depuis avant le 10 octobre 2025.

Depuis octobre 2023, l' #UNRWA mène des actions d'urgence dans le domaine de l' #eau , de l' #assainissement et de l' #Hygiène ( #WASH ) dans toute la bande de Gaza, tant dans ses centres d'hébergement d'urgence collectifs que dans les zones de déplacement informelles. Ces actions comprennent l'exploitation et l'entretien de puits et de systèmes de dessalement, ainsi que l'approvisionnement en eau par camions-citernes.
