There is a serious time pressure to end the #GazaGenocide. If we do not stop the #genocide quickly with #international pressure, #Gaza will be fully destroyed. To that end, of course, they're going to encourage more people to become food insecure (starving). The only way to stop them, hold them accountable, and change things for the better in a significant, meaningful way is if we elect true progressives. I said, true progressives, and not those who claim to be only during an election. And especially not moderate centrists who will point at all the GOP's wrongdoings as if they were their publicists or sportscasters, but without doing anything meaningful to make a difference. Their version of meaningful is to claim that unity is more important than change or accountability, while telling you that protesting will magically solve everything, as your letters and emails hit the spam box. There's someone begging outside a grocery shop. Do you ask what they want you to buy them? What they're allergic to? No—they might glom on to you, tag along. That'd be uncomfortable. Do you choose items for them as you do your shopping? 🍏An apple, a bottle of water, and a package of mixed nuts are rich in calories and nutrients, can travel, and will keep without refrigeration. 🥯 A fresh muffin might crumble, but a bagel wouldn't. If the flour is fortified, it'd be nutritious, though does lean toward empty calories. 🧀 A package of cured meat or hard cheese can travel, are high in nutrients and calories, and would last a half day without refrigeration if it's not too hot outside. 🪥A toothbrush and tube of toothpaste can travel. So can deodorant and a pack of wet wipes. For people who are struggling but don't want to accept charity (shame and pride 😢), when you let someone help you it's good for THEIR soul.
