This panel brings together experts who have brought prestigious cultural and public institutions on the Fediverse. 👏 We have the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK), the French Ministry of Culture, and @manfredzielinski@mastodon.nl is going to talk about social.overheid.nl, the Dutch gov Mastodon instance.

ENISA's 2026 Threat Landscape is out. Two numbers belong together. Where ENISA could identify the intrusion vector, 60% of unauthorised-access incidents came through a vulnerability, N-day or zero-day. And 2025 published over 48,000 new CVEs, up 22% on the year before. More doors, and the doors are the preferred route in. The other thread is dependencies. Supply-chain and third-party attacks are what produce the large-scale incidents. Which is why the point about patch clocks shrinking to days is not pedantry. I push back on the idea that using open models is morally equivalent to how the frontier companies trained them. The genie's out, and opting out entirely means accepting that your supply chain already uses AI anyway.

If your favourite #nonProfit likes to pay their #president almost one million USD per year and around four million USD to Jeff B. you need to get money from somewhere.
