It has put the systems that underpin our public services and the State at risk of digital ransom from US powers of service withdrawal or data extraction. Burnham could hoof Palantir out of the NHS if he becomes PM. A good start, but he needs to go further. It’s time to completely break our dependency on US tech firms.
