Coming up in #LibreOffice 26.8, our next major release (due in August): the border toolbar button in Calc is now a split button that remembers and reapplies the most recently used border style. Thanks to Andreas Heinisch for implementing this feature! #foss #openSource #freesoftware

Nach dem ich von #linux mint sehr begeistert bin, kämpfe ich grade mit #libreoffice. Ist schon krass, wie so eine #microsoft Prägung schwer wieder rauszukriegen ist. Konkret geht es um Formeln in LibreOffice. Es gibt das OLE-Objekt Formeln, mit dem ich formeln schreiben kann, aber damit komme ich echt nicht gut klar. Habe das TexMath-Plugin installiert, aber kriege es grade noch nicht zum Laufen. Bevor ich hier weitermache: wie macht ihr das? #fedilz

Habe meine Familienmitglieder nun informiert, dass ich das #Microsoft Abo kündigen werde. Jetzt gibt es ein paar Wochen Zeit um alles zu organisieren und dann ist Schicht im Schacht. Anfang Juli lizenziere ich #Softmaker #OfficeNX für fast die Hälfte des Preises. #LibreOffice kommt für mich nicht in Frage. Zu viele Bugs in für mich wichtigen Funktionen. Ein weiterer Schritt weg von #BigTech und wieder ein wohltuendes #UnplugTrump.

I wish #ProtonMail would sync files to its Proton Drive on Linux distros, same as I used to in my Windows. It's a good alternative for OneDrive, and it's free. I only need 5GB max.
