PlayStation discs will soon be gone!

Wtf #sony ?

The #playstation account announced in a blog post that they will stop making game discs altogether. http://play.st/4v86Wg3

This means :

  • No buying second hand. Once the game is not sold anymore nobody can buy it
  • Can not bring the game to someone's house and play together, now you need to log into your account
  • Sony can, for any or no reason remove a game from your library
  • If you paid extra for a PS5 with a disc drive, too bad, you can't use the drive you paid extra for with games beyond 2028!
  • Overall, a very slippery slope for ownership.

🇫🇷 Une belle petite randonnée de l'ancienne abbaye de Heisterbach à Königswinter en passant le Petersberg. Beaucoup de fleurs sauvages, deux belles églises mais pas de panorama grandiose aujourd'hui. Une brume épaisse au départ, un beau soleil à l'arrivée. 🇬🇧 A nice short hike from the former Abbey of Heisterbach to Königswinter via the Petersberg. A lot of wild flowers, two beautiful churches but no great panorama today. For the last 505 hours a Southern Water outfall has been feeding into the Itchen just north of Winchester city. This area is a site of preservation for chalkstream wildlife. So well hidden, the site of the outfall is looking difficult to reach. Really needs a drone and camera to find to search out samples. Feeling very underequipped to be a part of solution. If anyone knows anyone near the Winchester area who could genuinely be of assistance (expereince or means to get to hard to reach waterways) could they get in touch with the Winchester Green Party? contact@winchester.greenparty.org.uk A boost would be great, if anyone's feeling charitable. #environment #Itchen #sewage #Winchester #preservation #river
