Two years ago Gareth Williams offered to share his caving footage with us. We said yes without quite knowing what would follow.

What followed: hundreds of thousands of people watching caves they’d never heard of, beneath hills they’d never visited. Our Facebook growing past 10,000 followers. And Meta, quietly, starting to pay.

Meta paid £100. We’ve matched it. £200 shared equally: £100 shop credit to Kendal Caving Club, £100 to Crewe Climbing & Pothole Club.

Gareth, you’ve helped us show the world the Yorkshire Dales from the inside. Thank you.

Petzl have updated their pulley range with new names and codes. If you're running the old models, we've mapped out what's replaced what. Specs have changed too, generally 1mm down on rope diameter.
