Nottinghams hotel Mercure is currently host to a building net full of dead pigeons & dying chicks who have no one to feed them. Netting so horrendous multiple corpses hang decaying &broken inside it. Email/call/shame them. Tell them you'll not be booking a room there until there is safety for wildlife to fly free. Imagjne holidaying alongside dead carcasses. Disgusting... cruel. Remember the reason city pigeons exist and why they dont deserve to be maligned. Theyre not aggressive. They eat the shit we drop.. sadly even throw up which makes me want to vomit. For the last 505 hours a Southern Water outfall has been feeding into the Itchen just north of Winchester city. This area is a site of preservation for chalkstream wildlife. So well hidden, the site of the outfall is looking difficult to reach. Really needs a drone and camera to find to search out samples. Feeling very underequipped to be a part of solution. @greenpete@sunny.garden @xenogon@sunny.garden the thing that was always meant to rein in advancement and progress is ethics. The designers begged for moderation and ethics oversight and goverments ignored them.
