Examples include a commemorative passport with Trump’s image inside its pages & the addition of his signature on newly printed $100 bills. There are also proposals to feature his image on 24-karat gold coins and commemorative $250 bills.
A Treasury Department spokesperson said the coin “is in production and minted in Philadelphia, and it will be available in the fall.”

Under a #law passed in 2020, the #Treasury Department can mint $1 coins during 2026 to mark the 250th anniversary “with designs emblematic of the U.S. semiquincentennial.” However, according to US code, “[o]nly the portrait of a DECEASED individual may appear on United States currency & securities” — a law that sprang from a Colonial-era tradition against putting current presidents on #US coins [distinguishing] themselves from the British monarchy.

He does know the Arc de Triomphe was built to honor those who fought & died for France during the French Revolutionary & Napoleonic Wars right? Wait, of course he doesn’t. Lee.
