Not dread. Not “civilisation is doomed.” Not another reason to tighten around the world. Just this. This world is not my home. It is temporary. It is dreamlike. Everything made here passes. Civilisations pass. Bodies pass. Systems pass. Even the things that seem most solid are only here for a while. So there is nothing here worth defending with cruelty or fear. There is only kindness while we appear to be here. That is the part that matters to me now. If the world is temporary, kindness is not sentimental. It is the only sane attitude. Why add cruelty to a passing dream? Why argue with ruins? Why demand permanence from weather? The Course touches this same place in me. Not despair, but release. The system does not have to last forever for love to be meaningful now. The body does not have to be permanent for gentleness to be worthwhile now. The dream does not have to be real for forgiveness to be the way through it. And yes, peace is still here. Cold morning. Gas fire. Breath done. No obligations today. Nothing to become. Nothing to fix. Kindness is enough. #fasting #acim #acourseinmiracles #newthought #eckharttolle #buddhism #breathwork #connection #healing #pridemonth #Karma #TrueNature #Awakening #Meditation #Mindfulness #Spirituality #intermittentfasting #reconnectbreath

Wellness / somatic Before you open the news, press both feet flat to the floor and name three things you can hear. Your nervous system needs proof you exist before the feed tells you to be afraid. The held breath tells your vagus nerve the emergency has passed, and the heart rate follows like a dog called home. https://twp.ai/4hs7C1 #Mindfulness #Somatic #NervousSystem #SelfCare #MentalHealth #Grounding #Wellness #Breathwork #ThistleAndMoss #TheGathering

“We don’t sit in meditation to become good meditators. We sit in meditation so that we’ll be more awake in our lives.” - Pema Chödrön From her #book “when things fall apart” https://d3e.co/y8 I opened the book to a random page and came across these words. They’re resonating with me deeply in this moment, so I share them with you now. ☺️ “Meditation is an invitation to notice when we reach our limit and to not get carried away by hope and fear. Through meditation, we’re able to see clearly what’s going on with our thoughts and emotions, and we can also let them go.” “Reaching our limit is not some kind of punishment. It’s actually a sign of health that, when we meet the place where we are about to die, we feel fear and trembling. A further sign of health is that we don’t become undone by fear and trembling, but we take it as a message that it’s time to stop struggling and look directly at what’s threatening us. Things like disappointment and anxiety are messengers telling us that we’re about to go into unknown territory.” “Reaching our limit is like finding a doorway to sanity and the unconditional goodness of humanity, rather than meeting an obstacle or punishment.” Thanks for sharing this moment with me 🙏🏼 #Meditation #mindfulness #calm #SelfCare

Before you scroll: press both feet flat to the floor and name three things you can hear. The ground holds you whether or not the news does. The vagus nerve reads a slow exhale as proof of safety — it believes you before your mind does. Box breathe. Four in, four hold, four out, four hold. https://twp.ai/4hqgeT #Mindfulness #Grounding #MentalHealth #SelfCare #NervousSystem #Wellness #Breathwork #Healing #Anxiety #Community

Inspired by my meditation the other day, I invite you to pause for a moment and observe the world moving around you. Then observe the world moving within you. How does it feel? And what do you notice? 😃 #selfcare #consciousleadership #mindfulness

Before reading the news, name 3 things by their actual color. Not "blue," but cerulean, slate, cobalt. This isn't just poetry; it's a nervous-system hack. Color discrimination interrupts threat loops. Look up. The sky has kept its color for 9,000 years of chemistry while empires argue. Be furious AND tender. Both are needed to survive. #MentalHealth #Mindfulness #Nature #Cerulean #Grounding #SelfCare #AnxietyRelief #Bealltainn https://twp.ai/9OUqJm
