I thought I'd try to see if I can be #fedihire #fedihired. Applied Cryptographer and Software Engineer. I've worked with Smartcards, Embedded Systems, Kernel Drivers, Server software. Primarily I've used C/C++/Rust/Go/Python. At the moment I'm working on learning two slightly different things: Lean and VHDL. Yes, those worlds are quite different. Most recently I have been in the smartcard/PKI space, and while I enjoy the technical angle I'm spending far too much time in word for my enjoyment. I'm based in Switzerland, open to #remote contracts via my company if necessary.

Mon employeur et moi sommes d'accord sur le fait qu'on n'est plus alignés, notamment sur l'usage de l'IA (ils font un virage full IA 😵). Je suis donc en recherche d'un nouveau job en tant que dev senior, avec des pratiques craft, garantie 100% bio et sans IA 😊 Bonus si le projet est porteur de sens et ne contribue pas à la déshumanisation du numérique ❤️ #jechercheunjob #nantes #remote

"That pattern held for chief executives of Fortune 500 companies. Since we couldn’t directly measure the size of their egos, we measured factors that many previous studies have identified as reliable proxies for narcissism: the sizes of their pay packages, their signatures and their photos in their company reports. (No, the chief executives probably aren’t directly overseeing the page layout, but their underlings have to figure out what will and won’t please the boss.) Commanding outsize compensation and projecting an outsize image sends a message right out of Ron Burgundy’s playbook: I’m kind of a big deal. We found that the higher chief executives scored on this index, the more likely they were to seek power and status by becoming chairmen of their own companies and joining the boards of other companies. These were the chief executives who made the most negative statements about remote and hybrid work during the first two years of the pandemic. Linux im Gewölbekeller In Arbeitszimmern ohne Klimaanlage macht sich die aktuelle Hitzewelle besonders bemerkbar. Gerne schnappt man sich dann ein Notebook, um in einer kühleren Ecke zu arbeiten.
