Decided to check out the mini Comic-Con at one of our local library branches. Bargain of the show: an artist was doing hand drawn stickers of whatever character you wanted for $1 each. I had them draw their favorite character for me. #anime #libraries

It would be wonderful to visit and tour the newly opened Umberto Eco library at the University of Bologna where he taught for many years. So far it contains 32,000 of his books from his home and study in Milan, the rest of his books from his country house are yet to be added. Dear friends I am no step nearer to,

Formatting an olde Linux thumbdrive from my local library running the scamware Windows11 (lobster spits like a cameloid)
Librarians are very helpful if helpless
The librarians including their resident computer bodhi did kindly contact the 'only by remote access' small security team at Wandsworth council

That means I will have to wait for EasyOS to offer this capacity (is coming) or try again running dd, gparted and the usual bag of trickery at home.

Hi all, Does anyone have any critical questions/statements about AI to a company? My library is holding a town hall about getting AI and I would like to hammer them, but, y'know. Professionally. They might consider it more strongly if it's not full of bile. I've already sent several letters to the union about it. The most recent of which is that I want this to reflect in no part on our compensation. If the library wants us to use it, it will be wholly on their dime. New* library rules announced. “Anyone intoxicated was not allowed to borrow a book, and anyone behaving in a disorderly manner would be fined at least five shillings per offence.
