If I could have all the electricity and water for free that data centers use up just for AI bots attempting to sign-up at climatejustice.social with sloppy sign-up reasons, I'd probably have to pay no more bills.
Instead I fight AI bots with no compensation and my bills rise and rise.

Daí minha inquietação sobre como situar os Institutos Federais no debate sobre Soberania Tecnológica?
A resposta parece estar na própria base conceitual dessa nova institucionalidade, já que ela trata da Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia construída a partir dos arranjos produtivos, sociais e culturais locais como ação contra-cíclica a um efeito interno do capitalismo periférico e dependente: a profunda desigualdade regional.
A resposta também pode estar numa noção de tecnologia não como uma espécie de commoditie, mas por uma função produtiva situada no território.
Não precisamos de um Ifood explorando trabalhadores entregadores, restaurantes e clientes. Cada cidade e contexto pode ter suas plataformas, desenvolvidas e mantidas por seus cidadãos, fazendo a mediação tecnológica com justiça, sendo reconhecidas antes de tudo como bem comuns digitais.

I think it has all of the right ingredients with the main headwind potentially being high #finance costs for #realestate which of course means higher operating costs for #datacenters that run it. However, the availability of enough commercial real estate, attractive tax regime, and vast amounts of power for reasonable prices help, especially compared to #business in #Singapore
