My #Burnaby #LiberalMP (whom my wife and I voted in to prevent #PierrePoilievre being elected PM) hasn’t replied to any of my past emails, which are all highly critical of his government’s backtracking on climate and species at risk protections as well as privacy concerns. Instead, #WadeChang bombards us with glossy propagandist brochures of himself posing with local groups, all virtue signalling to cover over up his turncoat Liberal’s traitorous right wing lurch. One such picture is with our local wildlife rescue group. Imagine taking a smiling group photo with those rehabilitating the species at risk harmed by your own unethical, deregulated dirty oil projects?! These #CarneyLiberals assume we are all gullable idiots. I rip up his flashy brochures and recycle them, as they are just another waste of money and resources selling us yet another Liberal lie. Wade Chang will lose his next election to #Conservatives in large part due to Mark Carney’s selloff of our “left wing #antifa climate terrorist” interests. I will never be voting strategically again, at this point it is #electoralreform or bust for me. These short sighted, virtue signalling #Liberals will lose their majority and countless future elections by jettisoning their strategic leftwing supporters. I now believe #Canada deserves it’s true Right Wing Conservative government, enough of this neo-con Mark Carney masquerading as a Liberal. There's reasons for the disdain. Decades of exposure to corporate #Internet, not to mention #entertainment designed to normalize bigotry and abusive relationships like #SouthPark and copaganda shows, have destroyed the general U.S. sense for propriety and courtesy. There's ever so many people who think it's a citizen's duty to rain bomb threats and slurs and "kys" on powerless strangers. As I've said, journalists are not broadly liked for U.S. #conservatives in common with the #IDF all want journalists in the hands of firing squads. They're seen as mere wreckers. That's roughly what U.S. #conservatives say government ought to be like. Under cover of a strictly deceitful show of faith in democracy and liberty the Republicans have agitated for a return to the "constitutional republic" (modelled after Rome) that used to prevail in the earliest days of the United States when there was no universal suffrage and slavery still held and #politics was a pastime for big landowners and plantation slavedrivers and other such persons whom conservatives deem to be the only truly productive, creative, intellectual, and honorable human beings who ever exist. And then there's the President, the "unitary executive" who can wash away a henchman's sins with one jagged scrawl from a black marker. It's not even a real signature these days, just a zigzag scrawl like a row of pointy teeth. Richard Nixon wanted this really badly and he set the standard really, first voicing the "unitary executive" sentiment: if the President does it, it's legal. U.S. #conservatives say they want "small government" but what they really mean by that is they want a poorly defined government, one with lots of gaps and spaces through which leaders can exercise plenary powers. It's usual for the really prominent propagandists on the #conservatives' side to have a tremendous list of accolades and impressive-sounding titles and "fellowships" in mimicry of legitimate education. They give themselves lots of participation trophies, these folks, and they like to have pillow-fights with each other—"debates" devoid of intellectual gravitas, mere mutual-admiration sessions where everyone gets space to burble their pseudo-science or their fraudulent theories about people and society and economics. #Capitalism is sometimes cited as a topic worthy of intense study, far more lavishly funded than (say) history or mathematics or any genuine discipline.
