Yesterday I was nearly run over by a car. I was crossing an intersection with the pedestrian walk sign lit. A person in a car was waiting to turn left towards where I was. Did they wait for me to cross? Nope, they drove directly in front of me as soon as the light changed and was accelerating, nearly knocking me to the ground or worse in the middle of the intersection. They even gave me a dirty look for being there. You'd think they'd see a person with a bright-colored shirt, and a bright metal cane. Or maybe they'd remember the traffic law that pedestrians have the right of way? #NearAccident #Entitled
