The internet is increasingly LLM content, and because it's so much easier to generate soon it will be, or maybe already is, the majority. That will discourage actual content creators to create and readers to read, advertisers to advertise and hosters to host. KI sprich AI-Slop Code werden die neuen Excel Dateien sein, die versprechen den totalen Überblick der Daten zu haben aber die Anwender*innen haben keine Ahnung was sie nun klicken. welp… ❝ MIT researchers last year hooked a group of students up to EEGs to study their brain activity while writing essays. Some of them were allowed to use the internet to conduct research, while others were told to use AI. I need to get off Google Docs. It's where I've been doing my writing for years. As of this week, it's got AI nonsense all over the damned place. No, I don't want AI to even out my writing. How do I disable this shit? How do I get all my writing to an AI-free program without ripping out my hair? I want to be able to access my documents across different devices. How can I do this? Today¹ it is #USDA listing a fictional nation as a free-trade US partner. Maybe tomorrow they will impose tariffs on their products, because they dared not exist. Absolutely destroyed that Kamelot used AI generated garbage in their new lyric video. I was going to get concert tickets for their show here in October, but now I'm probably not going to even buy their new album. Während einer Präsentation von Jeff Graham, dem ranghöchsten Delegationsmitglied der US-Regierung, wurde eine Karte eingeblendet, auf der sechs Länder in Afrika hervorgehoben wurden. Alle waren komplett falsch platziert. Man sollte von KI keine Inhalte generieren lassen, wenn man kognitiv und intellektuell nicht in der Lage ist, das Ergebnis zu überprüfen. 🤷 #OpenAI #AISlop

I bet @racheltobac@infosec.exchange already knows, but: This isn't for the benefit of LinkedIn users; it's not going to be used to reduce the amount of #AISlop. It's instead soliciting unpaid labour from users, to refine their #LLM so that it can produce *more* slop, harder to distinguish from human-generated content.
