This will prove to be interesting. The semanticians who create Israel’s messaging are among the best in the world. They have conflated #Judaism and #Israel in the minds of many people, so they can claim that any criticism of Israel is #antisemitism. Which is, of course, absurd as a logical argument, but very effective messaging. The #IHRA declaration seems innocuous, until you read the examples, wherein they say that criticism of Israel is antisemitism. The #BMA was correct in their vote. People under 50 may not have even met anyone who experienced WW2. Israel doesn’t have the same emotional weight that it held 80 years ago. They squandered it straight away with the King David Massacre, and they just kept killing, in front of three generations of people who’ve barely studied WW2. GenX and younger have never seen an Israel that wasn’t the aggressor. Yet, none of *us* conflate the two. We don’t blame Jews. It has come to my attn that there are still ppl claiming that pagans who work w Lilith are "culturally appropriating" her from Judaism. Let me be super direct. Fk off. Lilith was a Sumerian demon / goddess before she was ever roped into partnering w Adam, the fking judeochristian poster child for "nice guys." She predates ur fking liar god's "I made this" bedtime stories. By a lot. A lot a lot. But okay, what I am wrong? (I'm not but okay let's pretend.) Lilith told Adam to fk off for demanding dominance. She told the angels who tried begging and threatening her to return to fk off. And when ur liar god threatened her children / people, Lilith didn't blink. Religion this century has proven itself to be immoral. No arguments. The Judaic ‘most moral army’ murdering and commiting genocide. Islamic terrorists carrying out suicide bombings and beheadings.
