In my novel, “Our Better Nature”, Mary and her compatriots use their weather-wrangling powers to take on the global industrial complex, to cure climate change. No one can stop them. Almost.

Several have read the book and commented on it. According to them, it’s worth reading. (Links to full reviews below). They say:

Not too witchy, but enough magic (I mean science) to make it fun. – M.F.

It feels like an adult version of those fairy tales we were read when we were kids… I only wish it was true. – B.A.

A strong and enjoyable start from a new voice in urban fantasy. – L.R.

Read this book though and it makes you feel as if there is some hope, that maybe something could be done if enough people organise themselves and band together. – G.C.

The author has given us a wonderful story peopled by a rich tapestry of characters. He has blended science and magic, explored successes and failures, and love and sorrow. Ultimately he has offered a glimmer of hope that global cooperation may be able to drive environmental change. – M.R.

Pagan Reclamation:

Perhaps not coincidentally, the Spring Equinox and Saint Patrick's Day are pretty close in time. I'm not saying the Equinox is stolen (Equinox being subsumed by Easter is more likely) but given the long history of Christian theftI, dunno.

Why u l, as a non-Christian, might not want to celebrate St. Patrick:

Saint Patrick is considered the person who "converted" Ireland from their native beliefs to Christianity They say "thousands" and tbh, I'm wondering how much "or else" might have been involved (BC that's sort oc Yahweh's brand, u know?).

Personally, I don't see conversion as a good thing for Ireland and for the world, so like... no thx.

Try celebrating instead:

The Equinox! Return of light, the end of winter, and the resurgence of life!

And hey if u want to get drunk and make spicy choices to celebrate life then that fits!

Just don't get PREGNATE!

(Unless u want to)

It has come to my attn that there are still ppl claiming that pagans who work w Lilith are "culturally appropriating" her from Judaism.

Let me be super direct.

Fk off.

Lilith was a Sumerian demon / goddess before she was ever roped into partnering w Adam, the fking judeochristian poster child for "nice guys."

She predates ur fking liar god's "I made this" bedtime stories. By a lot. A lot a lot.

But okay, what I am wrong? (I'm not but okay let's pretend.)

Lilith told Adam to fk off for demanding dominance. She told the angels who tried begging and threatening her to return to fk off. And when ur liar god threatened her children / people, Lilith didn't blink.

She said "Try it and I'll end urs too, ahole." And ur god scurried away w his tail between his legs.

If u think Lilith has any loyalty to judeochristian religion, u prob need to at LEAST go read the parts of your bible your religious leaders left out.

And then? Go read up on Lilith and put some respect on her fking name, okie?

Byeeeee.
