In 2022, we - a small family of four people and three cats - moved from Germany to Ireland. It all started with a stray cat that we gave food to because he was so skinny and pushy. And more and more came. On our highest peak we had over 30 cats! These four years had been the toughest of all times. Now, all cats are tamed and well behaved - we have been grown together as a family with 16 wonderful cats! ❤🥰 🐈

The Last Rose of Summer is a true story about corruption in #cancer research. I discovered a cheap, plant-derived drug that could replace some much more toxic (but more lucrative) therapies. #BigPharma got involved and suppressed the research. Eventually I had to publish the story in thinly veiled fiction and survive a bunch of murder attempts. "Mary Austin" is a pseudonym, as my publisher forced me to use one. So... hi, I'm "Mary." 🤷♀️

God Didn't Make Us to Hate Us is a wonderful, readable, frequently very funny book by an Episcopal priest named Rev. Lizzie McManus-Dail.
She reimagines faith without fear-based preaching, without hatred of people who are different in any way. I checked it out from the library recently; every page is full of joy and a faith that affirms that God wants us to love ourselves and each other.

They do the breaking themselves, all the while saying something like "you'll understand the reason for this when you're older" because they haven't a real religious faith to stand on any longer. Christofascism is like if someone in prison took extra special care to carve the shiv into some rough semblance of a cross...and I'm sure this has been done thousands of times.
All substance has been blasted away from their notion of #Christianity. To them Christianity practically means about the same as McDonalds, and Christofascism has leaned into the tawdriness and the swindling therefore. McDonalds too evokes idealized childhood as a brute-force marketing maul.
