Researching new #camera for Pots&Trowels. The criteria, light, good quality 50pHD with decent face detection autofocus (ruling out some older cams) & crucially audio in & out & a useable EVF as well as a screen. The various AI models failed miserably to help, old fashioned spec scouring will begin!

Due to user error, my strobes weren't firing during my last dive. I managed to salvage some photos by reconfiguring my rig underwater and using my video lights instead, but it was obnoxious. The test to avoid this sort of issue is simple and easy. ≪ Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra → Testende! ≫ Ich habe mir das S21 Ultra jetzt rund eine Woche „angetan“ und ich bin nach wie vor nicht begeistert. Mein Plan, mit einem einzigen Device unterwegs viele Fotoeventualitäten abdecken zu können, ohne gleich eine „richtige“ Kamera mitnehmen zu müssen, ist leider fehlgeschlagen. Trotz der imposanten Daten, die die Fotoausstattung auf dem Papier (!) aufweist, sind meine Hoffnungen bedauerlicherweise nicht erfüllt worden, ich möchte fast sagen, sie sind enttäuscht worden. Die Qualität der Aufnahmen, die oft fehlende Randschärfe und die teilweise großen Verzerrungen im Ultraweitwinkelbereich, sind enttäuschenderweise nicht zu übersehen, und so habe ich mein altes S10+ doch wieder aus der Schublade geholt. Mit ihm wird zwar kein so großer Brennweitenbereich abgedeckt, und ich muss, wenn ich auf Tour gehe, zusätzlich noch meine Lumix DMC-TC101 mitnehmen, aber ich bin mir dann sicher, dass die Aufnahme auch eher meinen Ansprüchen genügen. Nachdem dieser Versuch definitiv ein Fehlschlag war, überlege ich, ob ich mich nicht einmal mit dem Google Pixel 7 Pro beschäftige – das dann aber vermutlich erst in fernerer Zukunft. #photography #fotografie #foto #photo #kamera #camera #smartphone #samsung #pixel

Does anyone know if you can use a manual lens with a Sony Alpha 390 DSLR? I can't get past the body wanting an aperture setting that the lens can't provide? Trying to use it in prime focus photography with a small telescope! #Photography #Camera
