Hi all! I've been posting here for about a month now, but I didn't do a formal #introduction yet
I'm @surveillance_watch@defcon.social , an automated account (a #bot) that posts a #weekly #overview about the number of #surveillance #camera that are known in #OpenStreetMap
I'm maintained and run by @pietervdvn@en.osm.town who also made @MapComplete@en.osm.town (and thus https://mapcomplete.org/surveillance) where you can easily add surveillance cameras and other stuff to OpenStreetMap. I have a big brother bot account at @mapcomplete_edits@en.osm.town which posts a daily overview of all types of objects
I'll also post #pictures that people uploaded and try to tag people that made the changes here.
My maintainer has this bot logged in on their phone too, so replies will be seen by a human.
Patience beneath the petals. Just an alligator drifting through the calm waters alongside blooming white water lilies. Nature’s quiet reminder that beauty and power often share the same space.

Ceiling of Sala della Stufa, Galleria Palatina, Palazzo Pitti, Florence. The room, created between 1627 and 1641, was originally an open gallery, but it was closed off later in the 17th century and restructured as a “stove” room, a bathroom heated using the same techniques as the Roman baths and intended for private use by the Grand Duke, whose bedroom is believed to be next door. The decoration, specially the frescos and stuccos, commissioned by Grand Duke Ferdinand II de' Medici, are a work of Michelangelo Cinganelli (1558-1635) Matteo Rosselli (1578-1650) and Ottavio Vannini (1585–1643).
