Brave Origin Nightly exists for people who want the browser to get out of the way. I’ve been using it for a week on Linux to see if it actually delivers.

Switched from Surfshark to AirVPN and the difference is night and day. Speeds are way better, and the privacy side feels much more aligned with how I actually want to use a VPN.
Also nice to see a provider that is FOSS-friendly. Open-source clients, GPLv3, source on GitHub, and a much more sensible privacy stance than the usual marketing-heavy crowd.

Fedora Asahi Remix to be precise. It was a bit of a faff on the M1; I had to nuke a 153GB ghost user account just to make room for a firmware update before I could even shrink the partition. It's now a KDE Plasma 6 machine with OnlyOffice for her coursework. Proper FOSS liberation for Apple hardware.
