@vicfroh@mastodon.social Perpetuating Divide and Conquer Strategy, roots to controlling more #RootInfrastructure. So yes, every sector is pray for the #TechBros and #FossilFuels #oligarchs to usurp, under their control.
Unfortunately, history has shown that if they also co-opt educational systems, they breed more subjugated subservience, and profit further from devolving adaptability ranges, thereby eliminating most resistance.
History is rife with these examples of #AbuseOfPower. The only effective countermeasure of historical worth, is mass uprising.

This is why more of us in the sciences, are favoring #BehavioralScience integrated as Core Education.

@jenniferplusplus@hachyderm.io The wealthiest #TechBros #oligarchy #FossilFuels oppressors are consolidating as much wealth as they can, by employing classical #DivideAndConquer strategies to squeeze from the bottom up. This means unleashing as much power as they can to siphon as much money, as they can, from the masses. They clearly helped a great deal with campaign contributions toward the current US administration, and are now congealing in China to do similar, at scale.
Joining growing group movements like #NoKings, is one of the most powerful ways to counteract these #AbuseOfPower strategies. The first step is the easiest: signup electronically, get more involved locally.

Hint:
Communism = too little is never too little
Capitalism = too much is never too much
Democratic Socialism = YOU.. a RANGE/SCALE in the MIDDLE of extremes, like birth~death.
The math of physics doesn't have to be all that difficult, all the time. Your children don't have to be brainwashed into single solve mindsets, making them subservient to the abusers who know how to 'keep you/yours in range', by oppressing/suppressing to minimal returns, while giving more and more.
REPLACE ABUSIVE POWER WITH ETHICAL SCIENTISTS

@openrightsgroup It would be convenient to apply all culpability to The USA, in this increasing emergency. But the fact of more authoritarian autocracies around the world, looking to monopolize vital root infrastructure, like #datamining, is clearly on the rise. The wealthiest are hedging their bets that #globalization is more prone to a more classical collapse, than just a normative correction or contraction. Worse, they're not educating the public nor working with ethical representation in governments, for more eloquent and #sustainable correction.

@quixoticgeek@social.v.st At scale, such a powerful root infrastructure would require more than one source, like geothermal and wind, to justify such an amount. But placing a singular sourcing is an obvious liability with no backup/complimentary framework. It's like putting a large heavy water nuclear reactor in place, instead of smaller, overlapping modular Thorium, or Natrium reactors.
Simply just another #TechBros money-grab, at the taxpayer's expense.

It's no mystery that abuse of power often relies upon the masses being effectively 'hypnotized', by awe-inspiring unknowns, resulting in obedient subservience. Proffering AI as a miraculous cure for inadequately exercised emotions, along with unfulfilled proficiencies failed by diminishing educational systems, as a prioritized global investment, calls for further investigation - especially where #TechBros working to corner the vital resource of fuel (too much of which, is burning fossil fuels) in the form of #DataCenters.
It's continued #AbuseOfPower for the wealthiest 1% (more .01% now) to further subjugate subservience, in the name of #Capitalism.

@Casey Taking a deep dive into the economies of scale, from just Thorium Molten Salt Reactors, leaves certain credibility to hydrogen driven heavy duty transportation, if not buses along heavily traveled routes, away from concentrated populaces*.
Tritium, a natural component of hydrogen, is a byproduct of the Thorium cycle in some of these reactor types, while medical isotopes - not unlike uranium - desalination, industrial on-site heating, the ability to be mass produced/shipped in/from factories... and it's far safer, cleaner, and recyclable while being less long-term radioactive waste. China has been making great strides in this tech, and it's largely being ignored during these energy destabilizations.
*Concentrated living spaces should be a set distance away from any potentially volatile energy, like oil refineries and most other sources. City to city transportation is a prioritized option for hydrogen/ammonia/offshoot tech like this.

Nepotism wealth combined with charisma, and a pulpit like Art of the Deal and far reaching tv series, has led to one of the most abusive power paradigms, in human history. It's time for complete replacement.
