OK, something new.
For years, I've been playing mandolin in a bluegrass/fiddle band for fun. In May, our "Blue Mondays" band will play in a concert/fundraiser "Pickin' for Democracy". Every penny goes to Movement Voters PAC to fund local organizing and movement-building for voters. Our band has a $5,000 target (there are 10 other bands!!) We're looking for sponsors. We'll be playing "Round the Horn" & "Liberty" -- two classic tunes (and yes, metaphors!!).
