Ah yo, as usual #Hamburg broke things. The replacement bus to #Neumuenster couldn't be found, but thanks to #TheKindnessOfStrangers we got on the S-Bahn to #Pinneberg and then reconnected with the train to #Flensburg. #JourneyBackToStockholm #TheSlothOnTour #TrainTravel

I’m fortunate enough to have a vacay so long that I eventually stopped thinking about AI, LLMs, Python, work or even emacs. Traveled by Train with the Family to nice places in Europe (pictures in my pixelfed). I’ve read two great books, unrelated to software or work: “Perfection”, by Vincenzo Latronico, and “four stories” (a collection of short stories) by Han Kang. The short stories are some of the most beautiful and creative things I’ve ever read. #emacs #ai #vacation #traintravel #books

Today we start the long way back. It is very tricky to get to London from the Isle of Skye using public transport in one day. So instead, we take the bus back to Inverness for 2 quid and then the Caledonian Sleeper in the evening. I've shown the bus before, so instead Rubha Hunish at the north tip of Skye from above. 23/n #TrainTravel

Dags att knyta ihop säcken. Är i väldigt god tid vid Berlin-Lichtenberg för nattåget till Stockholm. SJ:s info är lika undermålig som alltid när det gäller Euronight. Det går tidigare! Nej! Fördelen med Interrail är att man kan ändra sina planer enkelt. Det är också nackdelen 😅 Bytte tillbaka till ursprungliga planen, åker nu eltåg. Vägen via Frankfurt visade sig ha Ersatzbus. #interrail #tågluff #traintravel
