I also had a lovely conversation with and older lady cyclist at the supermarket. She arrived as I was attempting to strap the box to my bike, so I vacated the single cycle rack for her. We started talking about the general lack of cycle parking in #NewPlymouth and ended up discussing the Queen St pedestrianisation project, the tim-tam cycleway and the upcoming election. I suspect the #NZPol PM won’t be too busy to talk or take disciplinary action against NZ’s foreign minister Winston Peters, who has brought international shame to #Aotearoa #NewZealand and has put NZ’s $40B+ annual trade with China at risk by being a senile racist moron who’s well overstayed his time in parliament, after November when Luxon will be the fool formerly known as Prime Minister and Peters the cooker formerly known as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Bob Marley Waiting in Vain Lot's of the footage of Bob was shot on his tour of #NewZealand in 1979. I was still at school at the time but a good school friend of mine was over in Parnell mowing his grandmother's lawn up the road from the White Heron where the Whalers were staying. The band had all gathered on the big field at the bottom of the road so my friend went down to have a look at what was going on and ended up playing football with them. I think I just watched the worst #NZQ&A interview I have ever seen. Tova O’Brien attempts to trip up #NZGreens co-leader Chloe Swarbrick on the need for a moratorium on #Ai centers plus fails spectacularly to defend the wealthy from paying taxes. The comments also make for interesting reading with many commentators supporting the Greens for the first time. This #NZPol election is going to be a turning point one way or another for #Aotearoa #NewZealand and I still hold hope it will be a turn for the better. 💚💚 https://youtu.be/DTb4k5e8Tm8
