Mein Mann sagte gestern "Wenn ich von der Arbeit komme, wäre es super, wenn die Kids schon was gegessen haben und versorgt sind. Dann bist du bitte mitsamt Kamera abfahrbereit. Wir machen einen Ausflug" Ich wusste nicht, wohin es geht. Wir waren gut 80 Minuten unterwegs. Und dann stand ich in Cuxhaven-Sahlenburg an der Nordsee. Oder besser gesagt am Watt. Denn das Wasser war abfließend. 🇺🇸 Yesterday my husband said, “When I get home from work, it would be great if the kids had already eaten and everything was ready. Then please be ready to go, with your camera gear. We’re going on a field trip.” I didn’t know where we were going. We were on the road for a good 80 minutes. If BP don’t think the #NorthSea is profitable for them…maybe that’s because it’s simply not and production has bean in decline for over a decade. This is already being seized upon by so called analysts (the rentagob quote used in Guardian comes from a graduate in War Studies) as evidence that there is no business faith in the new #Labour government. Had a short break on the North Sea coast, staying in a sleepy seaside village that used to be a popular summer destination in the 70s or 80s. Rainy and windy, but having the whole beach to yourself was lovely. Spent the day drinking coffee, eating cake, fish and chips and watching the tides and the container ships pass by. There wasn't much else to do really. Dinner was served until 7pm, most restaurants were closed by 8 🤷‍♂️ #Nordsee #NorthSea #beach #traintravel #travel
