Meine Heimat ist das #Ruhrgebiet, #Kiel mein Zuhause. In Kiel bin ich meist mit meiner #Pentax K3II unterwegs, auf Reisen meist mit der Ricoh #GR3x. Fotografieren und Bilder bearbeiten ( #Darktable ) sind für mich Entspannung und kreatives Austoben. My roots are in the Ruhrgebiet, Kiel is my home. In Kiel I usually take photos with my Pentax K3II, and when traveling I usually use the Ricoh GR3x. For me, taking photos and editing images means relaxation and creative expression.

Fotografie ist seit etwas über 50 Jahren mein Hobby. In der letzten Zeit zunehmend als Ausprägung in Schwarzweiß. Zu Hause bin ich im Süden von Schleswig-Holstein (Deutschland). Mein Foto-Leitspruch ist von Lee Friedlander: "You don’t have to go looking for pictures. The material is generous. You go out and the pictures are staring at YOU."

Ich habe einen Promotionshintergrund und beschäftige mich beruflich mit Computern, Netzwerken und universitärer Lehre. In meiner Freizeit bin ich regelmäßig mit der Kamera unterwegs, reise, koche und binge Filme und Serien. Zudem wurde ich aus dem gelobten LÄND in den Münchener Outback verschleppt.
