📣 If You Can Help Them, Don’t Hurt Them I’m on my way to volunteer at the New England Center and Home for Veterans here in Boston. ➡️ It’s a reminder that when we see someone who may be experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or active addiction, we’re seeing a human being. They could be a veteran, someone’s father, mother, son, daughter, grandparent, or loved one — someone who belongs to somebody. I’ve been homeless before. "Fracasse est un ouvrage collaboratif hybride fait de textes et d’images en tous genres. Il vise à questionner ouvertement les liens entre l’alcool et nos vies en prenant soin de s’épargner au maximum le jugement moral et les a priori portés sur ces questions. 24 contributeur·ices, artistes et amateur·ices ont participé à ce projet de plus de 60 pages qui contient également un fascicule de ressources pour mieux vivre avec ou sans alcool. Par la pluralité des expressions – BD, témoignages, poésies, illustrations, archives – qui y sont rassemblées, Fracasse tente avant tout d’ouvrir les voix et de sortir des schémas binaires et des positions de surplomb, pour se sentir un peu mieux, peut-être." The European Commission told TikTok to “change several key features, including disabling infinite scrolling, setting strict screen time breaks and changing its recommender systems. Someone sent me this Hansard record of the MP moral panic about Space invaders from 1981 “the increasingly harmful effects on young people of addiction to "space invader" machines.
